Brady Creek Contracting comes to your home or worksite to go over your project. The homeowner must have the area cleared of items so we have a empty workspace.

Brady Creek uses a hand-held moisture meter to determine the base boat of the system we are installing.

Brady Creek Contracting brings specialized equipment in to prep the floor. This includes a diamond grinding machine, hand tools and a high powered HEPA vacuum to handle the concrete dust. We fill in cracks as required and thoroughly clean the area.  Then comes the epoxy / polyaspartic coats until we have the finished product .

That's it ! in 48 hours you can return small items into the area. Parking of vehicles , heavy machines or heavy items needs 7 days to cure.

By grinding the floor with our specialized equipment we are prepping the surface for a mechanical attachment for your epoxy floor . Without the proper prep work for the concrete, this can lead to de-lamination of the epoxy, essentially it peels off !

Brady Creek Contracting will assess every project with the homeowner. The short answer is YES ! With our repair products we can fill and grind those cracks to allow for a smooth seamless finish.  For concrete cut lines we prefer to not completely fill them as they were installed for a purpose , to allow movement.

There are many "DIY" kits that can be purchased from the shelf for a lower price. This is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for". These kits are often paint based products and not 100% epoxy. Floor preparation is also a issue with these kits. They call for clean surface only , or a basic acid wash which is not adequate for attachment. Because of these factors, we often see these kits fail quickly!

Our starting price for garage flake flooring projects which include all labour and materials required is $7 sq foot. Solid colours , metallic and marbling will range depending on complexity.

Some exceptions to this cost would be areas that have extensive repairs or difficult installation. This will be clearly explained upon the job estimate and provided in writing for the homeowner.

TOP COAT ! Ask your installer what kind of top coat you are getting for your flake floor . Did you know a clear epoxy top coat alone , although durable is not UV , stain, salt and hot tire (black marks) resistant ? Did you know clear epoxy top coats can yellow in the sun? Brady Creek uses POLYASPARTIC top coat which is a VERY impressive product. No hot tire pickup, UV impenetrable ,  salt impervious, very flexible, durable and blocks those stains !
